4 Keys to Understanding the Bible

1. It is a Library not a book.

Some ancient literature, some ancient laws, some poetry, someone else's mail, and biographies.

2. Never read a Bible verse.

Always read a passage. If you read a single verse isolated of itself you will never understand God's purpose for the humanity, Jesus, or His Word.

3. The Bible was written for us not to us.

Always read everything with the understanding of who it was written to. Then read understanding why it was written. Then understand how it applies to us.

4. Everything leads to Jesus.

Entirety of every book has an arrow pointing to either Why we need a Savior or Who is the Savior.
