Dark Wars

Psalm 27:1 "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?"
We know that there is darkness that rules and temps in this world (Eph. 6:12) and had power (Col. 1:13) to even blind the world from the light of truth and hinders the light of truth and fellowship for those who are born again. I don’t HAVE to live in darkness!
1. The Lord is my light and my salvation. I can have a new life through Jesus; a “bright” future in Christ, but also when the storms of life come I can overcome the dark clouds of despair. I can bravely say “Whom shall I fear”
2. The Lord is the strength of my life. There are days that come when I don’t feel that I can fight this good fight of faith. When quitting seems to be my best option. But in God’s Word I know that I have (through Christ) an abundant strength that all things become possible (Phil. 4:13). I know God wants me to thrive in life and service (Rom. 8:31). I am able to ask now “Whom shall I be afraid”
I am persuaded that nothing can keep me from the love of God (Rom. 8:38- 39)
