Where to go?

Mark 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Go into all the world, individually speaking; we can only go to one place at a time. Such as "I am in St. Jacob." We as a church can change this community and build an outreach program to reach surrounding areas. Maybe even reach foreign regions of the world. But our individual church with individual people and families can't go into the whole world and affectively minister in a lifetime. So when we read "Go ye into all the world" we see the whole world being approved to evangelize and build churches and ministries. As we pray about where God wants us to minister at; we shouldn't have anywhere on a map we refuse to go. According to God it is an open market. Rather its 8 miles away or 4 time zones away, feel free to GO!
Speaking of individually, notice the word “ye” in the scripture. Picture Jesus speaking in your church on Sunday morning and stepping in front of each individual family and preaching a message just to them. A message of “Go”. He would probably have some pointers, like pointing His finger at your family and saying “You Go! Into this world and preach Me!” You see; somehow we have stopped taking the bible serious and literal. When we read this verse or hear the pastor read this verse we magically only see “Go preachers into all the world and preach”. But that’s not what the scripture is saying. It say very clearly Go ye. It is not a suggestion of “if you want to, than go” or a selective few get to go. Rather a COMMAND for every born again, baptized, church member to go into the world.
Looking at the world as being the mission field. Let’s not let the magnitude of measure frighten us away from going. The truth is I can’t go into all the world, but I can go somewhere in the world. It’s best to start right where you are at. When I was a young preachers I would pray and seek for a place that Gods would have me to go, but never accomplish anything where I was at. It wasn’t until I started serving God in my local town with ministry, outreach, and soul winning when God allowed me to see that more of this world needed me to go into it. If you’re not willing to go next door and share Jesus than chances are God isn’t ready for you to go into the rest of the world.
So while we are here in this community let’s go into the community and share the name that is above every name…. Jesus!
